Preparation steps

1.

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy with a hand mixer. Add eggs and orange juice and stir. Sift together flour and baking powder and mix everything into a smooth batter.

Place baking cups into a muffin tin and fill with batter. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) on the second shelf from the bottom for 15 to 20 minutes.

Let cupcakes cool on a wire rack. Beat cream with vanilla sugar until stiff. Color frosting with food coloring. Pipe frosting onto cupcakes with a pastry bag or spread with a knife. Decorate cupcakes with colored sprinkles prior to serving.
