- 100 milliliters Beef broth
- 4 Tbsps Orange juice
- 4 Tbsps Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp hot Mustard
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp sweet ground paprika
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, pat spare ribs dry. Place in a pot and cover with boiling water. Peel and halve onion and garlic clove and add to pot. Simmer about 30 minutes.
2.
To make barbecue sauce: In a saucepan, bring broth and orange juice to a boil. Cook until slightly reduced, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and mix in ketchup, mustard, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in paprika, lemon juice and ginger. Season with salt, Tabasco and pepper.
3.
Remove spare ribs from cooking liquid, drain well and place on a hot grill. Brush with barbecue sauce and cook, brushing frequently with additional barbecue sauce, 15-20 minutes.
