- 500 grams Beef (from the hip)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 Red chili pepper
- 3 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 stalk Leeks
- 1 Red Bell pepper
- 50 grams ginger
- Hoisin sauce
- Bamboo skewer
Preparation steps

Cut meat along the grain into 3 cm (approximately 1 inch) thick slices, then cut into 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) thick slices. Peel garlic and chop finely. Rinse chile pepper, halve and remove seeds and ribs, chop finely. Combine garlic and chile pepper with soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil. Add meat to marinade and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Rinse and dry leek, halved lengthwise and cut into 1 to1-1/2 inch long pieces. Rinse and halve bell pepper, remove seeds and ribs and cut into cubes. Peel ginger and cut into thin slices. Thread meat and vegetables, alternating, onto wooden skewers and cook on hot grill for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve with Hoisin sauce.
