Flatten beef steak on a work surface. Season on both sides with salt and pepper. Spread with ham, chopped herbs and cheese. Roll up from the narrow side inwards and cut into about 3 cm (approximately 1 inch) slices. Tie each roll securely with water-soaked kitchen string and thread each roll on a skewer. Baste with oil and grill on a hot grill for about 4-5 minutes per side. Arrange on plates and serve.
