Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 250°C (approximately 475ºF).

For the pizza bases, mix the flour with 1 teaspoon of salt and 8 tablespoons of olive oil.

Crumble and dissolve the yeast in 250 ml of lukewarm water (approximately 1 cup). Pour into the flour and knead well. Cover and leave to rest for about 60 minutes in a warm place, until the volume has doubled.

2.

For the topping, rinse and quarter the tomatoes.

Knead the dough again on a floured work surface and then divide into 4 portions. Roll out into pizza bases and lay them side by side on a baking sheet or pizza tray.

Brush each pizza base with oil and season with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic and thyme. Top with the cherry tomatoes and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

3.

Rinse the arugula and shake dry.

Combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Mix well with a whisk.

Tear the ham into small pieces and distribute over the hot pizzas along with the arugula.

Drizzle with the oil mixture and serve immediately.
