- 3 Tbsps clarified butter (or oil)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (finely sliced)
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 4 Chicken breasts (skinned and cut into chunks)
- ½ cup Chicken broth
- ½ cup light whipping cream (30% fat)
- 0.333 cup Almond flour
- 4 pcs Cinnamon stick
- ⅔ cup sliced almonds (lightly toasted)
- 2 Tbsps parsley
- 2 Tbsps chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp paprika
- cilantro (to garnish)
Preparation steps

Heat the butter in a large pan and gently fry the onion and garlic until soft.

Stir in the turmeric, cook for 2 minutes then add the chicken and stir briefly. Pour over the chicken broth and cream and stir in the ground almonds and cassia bark.

Simmer very gently, stirring from time to time, for about 20 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.

Stir in the flaked almonds and chopped herbs, season with salt and pepper and serve with the paprika sprinkled over and the cilantro to garnish.
