Lasagna

- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsps olive oil
- 100 grams button Mushroom
- 350 grams Ground beef
- 1 lg can peeled Tomatoes (800 g (approximately 28 ounces) )

- 1 tsp grained Broth
- 2 tsps mixed Fresh herbs (such as thyme, sage, rosemary, oregano)
- 100 grams grated pecorino romano
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp Pastry flour
- 250 milliliters milk
- salt
- peppers (freshly ground)
- Nutmeg
- 12 Lasagne noodle (without precooking)
- Basil (for garnish)
Preparation steps
Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Clean the mushrooms and chop finely.
Heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the mushrooms and ground beef. Add the tomatoes, crush them, and let simmer for 10 minutes. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, bouillion and herbs.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour, and combine. Stir in the milk. Season with the salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook for 15 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
In a square, greased casserole dish, layer the ground beef mixture, cheese, lasgana noodles, and cheese. Repeat if necessary. Top the lasagna with the bechamel and additional cheese.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Bake the lasagna for 30-40 minutes, until lightly browned on top.
