- For the meatballs
- 11 ozs ground lamb
- 1 shallot (diced)
- 3 Tbsps chopped parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- salt
- peppers
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 3 Tbsps Oil
- For the sauce
- 1.333 cups plain Yogurt
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps chopped mint
- To garnish
- oregano
Preparation steps
1.
Mix the lamb with the shallot, parsley, oregano, lemon juice, salt and pepper and cinnamon. Form into 12 small balls.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs on all sides until cooked through.
3.
For the sauce: mix the yoghurt with the remaining oil. Stir in the garlic and mint. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
4.
Serve the meatballs with the minted yoghurt sauce and garnish with oregano.
