Ingredients
- for the crust
- 100 grams ground Hazelnuts
- 200 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 generous pinch ground Vanilla
- 150 grams softened butter
- 50 grams sugar
- 4 Tbsps Maple syrup
- For the baking and filling
- 200 grams Dark chocolate
- 100 grams peeled, roasted Hazelnuts
- 1 Mini muffin baking tin (24 wells for extra small mini muffins)
- 100 grams Legume (for blind baking)
Preparation steps
For the crust, mix the flour, baking powder, hazelnuts and vanilla in a bowl. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the flour mixture alternating with the maple syrup to the butter mixture. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).
Roll the dough out thinly on a floured work surface. Cut out into circles with a diameter of 6-8 cm (approximately TK inch). Pres the circles into the well-greased mini muffin tin. Fill with baking beans and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove, unmold, discard the beans and let cool on a wire rack.
Melt the dark chocolate over a water bath. Fill the tartlets with 2-3 teaspoons of chocolate. Top with a hazelnut. Drizzle with some chocolate if desired. Let solidify and serve.
