Ingredients

- Ingredients
- 1 stalk Leeks
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp Canola oil
- 100 grams cream cheese
- 3 eggs
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream
- 80 grams freshly grated Parmesan
- freshly ground peppers
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- salt
- 300 grams Puff pastry dough (from the refrigerated section)
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse leeks, drain and pat dry and cut lengthwise and cut into thin strips. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. In a saucepan, heat oil and fry leeks, onions and garlic for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl and let cool for about 5 minutes. Mix in cream cheese, eggs, cream and Parmesan. Season generously with pepper and nutmeg and a pinch of salt, to taste.
2.
Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).
3.
Roll out puff pastry and cut out 8-10 circles with a round cookie cutter, each about 7-8 cm (approximately 3 inches) diameter. Grease and flour small quiche pans or a muffin tin and line with pastry circles. Place leek filling in pastry and bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Serve hot or cold, as desired.
