Preparation

Kitchen utensils

1 Cutting board, 1 Knife, 1 Peeler, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Bowl, 1 Pot, 1 Skillet, 1 Plate

Preparation steps

1.
Wash and sort the berries then pat dry.
2.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
3.
Separate the eggs. Melt the butter and allow to cool slightly. Then mix with the egg yolks in a large bowl. Add the quark, vanilla pudding powder, semolina, sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix until smooth. Butter a springform pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then carefully fold into the quark mixture. Turn the mixture into the prepared springform pan and scatter with the berries. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. Cover with parchment paper towards the end if the cake browns too quickly. Test to see if is done by inserting a wooden cocktail stick, then take out of the oven and leave to cool in the tin.
