- salt
- 1 green Bell pepper
- 1 red Bell pepper
- 2 carrots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 centimeters fresh ginger
- ½ Napa cabbage
- 500 grams Pork tenderloin (ready to cook)
- 2 Tbsps soybean oil
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- ¼ tsp Sambal oelek
- dark soy sauce (as desired)
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 4 eggs
Preparation steps
Place the rice in 500 ml of salt water (approximately 2 cups) and bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes until al dente.
Meanwhile, rinse and quarter the bell peppers, remove the seeds and ribs and cut into narrow strips. Peel the carrots and grate coarsely.
Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger.
Rinse and trim the cabbage and cut into fine strips.
Rinse the meat, pat dry and cut into small cubes.
Heat the oil in a wok and brown the meat on all sides. Season with salt and pepper, remove and set aside.
Add the garlic and the ginger to the wok and sauté briefly. Add the remaining vegetables, sauté together and stir in the rice.
Stir in the Sambal Olek and season with soy sauce. Return the meat to the wok and mix in.
In another pan, heat the butter and fry 4 eggs.
Place the eggs on top of the Nasi Goreng and serve lightly seasoned with salt.
