- For the dough
- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 130 grams butter
- 80 grams sugar
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 generous pinch cinnamon
- 1 egg
- Pastry flour (for dusting)
- For the topping
- 300 grams butter
- 300 grams sugar
- 3 packets Vanilla sugar
- 250 grams Peanuts
- 250 grams Hazelnuts
- 100 grams almonds
- Safflower oil (for slicing)
Preparation steps

For the dough, mix the flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon and sugar. Chop the butter into small pieces. Add the egg and butter to the flour mixture and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic and chill for about 20 minutes. Roll out on a floured surface and place on a lined baking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). For the topping, heat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and 6 tablespoons of water until golden brown. Remove from the heat, stir in the nuts and spread the mixture on the dough.

Bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven. Immediately cut the dough into 7x10 cm rectangles using an oiled knife. Place the cookies on a wire rack to cool. Serve immediately.
