- 3 cups flour
- ⅔ cup Chestnut flour
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 3 Tbsps Yeast
- 2 tsps Dried yeast
- 2 Apple (cored and sliced)
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 1 ¾ cups Sour cream
- 3 onions (cut into thin rings)
- 2 scallions (cut into rings)
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 220°C (200°C in a fan oven), 425°F, gas 7 and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

Mix together the two types of flour and salt. Dissolve the yeast in 320 ml lukewarm water and slowly knead into the flour mixture using a hand mixer with dough hooks. If necessary add some more water and knead for around 5 min. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for one hour until the dough has doubled in size.

Knead the dough well on a floured work surface and break into 10 to 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece out flat and place on the prepared baking tray. Leave to rise for a further 10 min.

Mix the apple slices with the lemon juice and spread the bread with sour cream. Season with salt and ground black pepper and arrange the apple slices and the onion rings on top. Bake for around 15 to 20 min then remove from the oven and serve either warm or cold.
