- soft butter (for the baking tin)
- flour (for the baking tin)
- 1 ¼ cups Dark chocolate (for cooking)
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- ⅞ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsps Vanilla sugar
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup hazelnut flour
- 2 Tbsps cocoa powder
- 2 tsps Baking powder
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C in a fan oven) 350°F, gas 4 and grease and flour a wreath tin.

Melt the chocolate and the butter in a bain-marie and leave to cool slightly.

Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl until white and creamy. Add the chocolate-butter mixture and mix well.

Mix together the flour, nuts, cocoa powder and the baking powder and fold into the chocolate mixture. Transfer to the prepared baking tin, spread evenly and bake for around 40 minutes. (Test with a wooden stick). Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
