- 35 ozs waxy potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)

- 2 cups milk
- 0.333 cup Crème fraiche
- 2 Tbsps Oil
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (crushed)
- ⅜ cup dry white wine
- 3 Mackerel

1 Tablespoon, 1 Plate, 1 Small skillet, 1 Small knife, 1 Large knife, 1 Cutting board, 1 große Non-stick pan, 1 Small bowl, 1 Salad spinner, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Plastic wrap, 1 Citrus juicer
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease a baking dish.

Arrange the potatoes in the baking dish in neat layers, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.

Whisk together the milk and crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes.

Cook for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.

Heat the oil in a pan and cook the onion until translucent. Add the garlic and stir in the white wine. Cook until reduced by about half.
6.
Place the fish on top of the potatoes in the baking dish. Pour the onion and white wine mixture over and season with salt and pepper. Bake for a further 15-20 minutes until the mackerel are cooked.
