1 kilogram clam
2 shallots
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp freshly chopped thyme
3 Tbsps olive oil
100 milliliters dry white wine
100 milliliters fish stock
salt
freshly ground peppers
400 grams Spaghetti
4 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley

Preparation steps

Scrub mussels thoroughly, removing all beards. Discard any opened ones. Peel shallots and garlic, chop finely. Heat oil in a pan and saute shallots, garlic and thyme until translucent. Deglaze pan with white wine and stock, add mussels and simmer, covered, for about 5 minutes or until they have opened (discard all unopened ones), season with salt and pepper.

Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente and drain. Add pasta and parsley to mussels and mix well. Arrange on warmed plates and serve.
