Preparation steps

Cut the rolls in half and toast in a preheated oven (200°C or approximately 400°F) with the cut side up for about 5-7 minutes.

Meanwhile, stir the tomato paste with 3 tablespoons of water, then stir in the ketchup, oregano and basil. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the bread from the oven and sprinkle with the tomato sauce, then sprinkle with 2/3 of the grated cheese.

Cut the ham into pieces and spread on the buns. Rinse the tomatoes, cut into slices, place decoratively over the ham and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Put all the rolls back into the oven and bake until golden, 15-20 minutes.

Rinse the basil, shake dry and pluck off the leaves. Serve the pizza rolls on a plate, garnished with basil.
