500 grams sugar
1 Cinnamon stick
1 lemon (djuice)

Preparation steps

Rinse the plums, remove the stones, and cut into quarters. Mix the plums with the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice in a large roasting pan. Let rest for 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 150°C (approximately 300°F).

Place the roasting pan in the oven. Cook for 2-3 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes, until the jam has thickened. Remove the cinnamon once thick, and puree completely. Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam, seal tightly, and cool completely.
