- 250 grams Plum (or red plums)
- 1 kilogram red onions
- 2 Tbsps sunflower oil
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 250 milliliters Red wine
- 75 milliliters white balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Mustard seed
- 1 generous pinch Ground clove
- 1 generous pinch allspice
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps

Rinse and halve the plums. Remove the stones and thinly slice. Peel and julienne the onions, then sauté for 1-2 minutes in the oil. Add the plums, honey, red wine, vinegar, mustard seeds, cloves, and allspice. Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add some water.

Season to taste with salt, pepper, and vinegar. Fill into prepared jars, seal tightly, and cool completely.
