1 pinch baking soda
4 garlic cloves
30 grams butter
2 Tbsps sunflower oil
4 Pork cutlets
freshly ground peppers
2 Tbsps Maple syrup

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and trim the green beans. Blanch in boiling salted water with the baking soda for about 6-8 minutes. Immerse the beans in ice water and drain. Peel the garlic and cut into slices.

Heat the butter and the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the chops for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Turn the meat and season with salt and pepper. Pour the maple syrup over the chops and sprinkle the garlic slices on top. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until done.

Wrap the chops with aluminum foil for about 3 minutes to rest. Heat the beans in the same pan you used for the meat and season with salt and pepper. Take the chops out of the aluminum foil. Serve the green beans topped with the chops. If you wish, you can also serve with small new potatoes. Enjoy!
