200 milliliters Whipped cream
1 Tbsp fresh thyme
60 grams grated Mountain cheese
2 Tbsps Double cream (if needed)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Peel the garlic. Rub the garlic on the baking dish and grease with butter. Peel, rinse and cut the potatoes and beets into thin columns.

Spread the vegetables in the baking dish. Mix the cream, thyme and cheese. Season with salt, nutmeg and pepper. Pour the sauce over the vegetables until the potatoes and beets are barely covered. If necessary, add more cream. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
