- 500 grams waxy potatoes
- salt
- 400 grams Leeks
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 350 grams mixed Ground meat
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp Ajvar
- peppers
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 Tbsp lactose free butter
- 1 Tbsp Pastry flour
- 400 milliliters lactose free milk (or soy milk)
- 100 grams lactose free Cheese (such as Emmentaler)
- Nutmeg
- lactose free butter (for the pan)
Preparation steps
Scrub potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes in salted water. Drain and let evaporate briefly, peel and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Rinse leeks and cut into 1 cm (approximately 1/2inch) thick slices. Peel onion and garlic, chop finely. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion and garlic for a few minutes. Add ground meat and saute until crumbly. Add ajvar and saute briefly. Season with salt, pepper and rosemary.
Melt butter in a small saucepan, sprinkle with flour and gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and add 2/3 of cheese, whisking. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Spread potatoes, leeks and ground meat in a greased baking dish. Pour béchamel sauce over it and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximtely 350°F) for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
