Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 300°F.

Cut the quince and apples into quarters and remove the seeds and cores. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. Remove and allow to cool.

Peel the apples and quince, cut into small pieces, then puree. Add the sugar and cook for five minutes on the stove. 

Spread the mixture approximately 1/2 inch thick on a tray lined with parchment paper allow to dry for 2-3 days. Cut into bite-sized squares (about 1x1 inches) and coat the pieces in granulated sugar. Keep in an airtight container.
