The white flowers are not only early messengers of summer, but also very healthy: elderflowers contain essential oils, sweat-inducing glycosides and numerous other secondary plant substances. In addition, they provide a sweetishly sweet aroma with a fine flowery taste! Great in combination with grape and lemon juice.

It is not for nothing that elderberry blossoms have many lovers and are experiencing a surprising comeback. You can pick elderberry blossoms from the end of May at the earliest and then until the end of July at the latest. This means that the harvest time is quite short. You want to capture the taste? Then try the elderflower syrup from EAT SMARTER!
