- 400 grams Long grain rice
- 1 bunch carrots
- 1 Fennel bulb
- 1 bunch scallions
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
- ½ bunch parsley
- salt
- peppers
Preparation steps

Cook long grain rice according to package directions. Scrub, rinse and trim carrots and cut into slices. Cut the ends off off the scallions, rinse and cut into 3 cm (approximately 1 1/4 inch) long pieces. Cut pieces in half lengthwise. Remove the green from fennel, rinse and cut the bulb into wedges and then into slices.

Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the scallions briefly. Add the fennel and carrots and saute everything for 20 minutes. Mix in the cooked rice. Rinse the parsley, finely chop and sprinkle on the rice and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
