1 tsp powdered sugar

1 Tbsp lemon juice

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Peel the onion and slice crosswise into 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) pieces. Grease a baking sheet with the oil, and place the onions onto the pan. Rinse and dry the thyme, then remove some of the leaves. Sprinkle the leaves and the stems of the thyme over the onions. Sprinkle with the powdered sugar, and season with the sea salt and lemon juice.

Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
