4 slices Pork neck
400 grams Porcini mushroom
1 garlic clove
2 onions
1 bunch thyme
2 Tbsps honey
2 Tbsps butter
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
Juice and zest of half lemons
salt
freshly ground pepper

Preparation steps

Rinse the meat, pat dry and place on a baking sheet greased with oil.

Trim the mushrooms and leave whole or cut in half depending on the size.

Cut the garlic bulb in half. Peel the onions and cut into quarters. Place everything on the baking sheet. Drizzle the meat with 1 tablespoon honey. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) upper and lower heat for about 4 minutes. Let cook until golden brown. Then remove from the oven and sprinkle the meat with the remaining honey. Melt the butter, mix with lemon juice and zest and brush the mixture on the meat and mushrooms. Season everything with salt and pepper and add half of the thyme. Bake 4-5 more minutes. Remove from the baking pan and place in a baking dish. Serve garnished with the remaining thyme sprigs.
