1 kilogram waxy potatoes
200 grams Feta
4 Tbsps fresh thyme
2 Tbsps butter
100 milliliters Whipped cream (min. 30% fat content)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the potatoes and cook for 30-35 minutes in boiling water. Remove, and drain in a colander. Let dry slightly.

Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 430°F).

Crumble the feta cheese with your fingers. Rinse and dry the thyme, then remove the leaves from the stems. Slice the potatoes. Grease a baking dish with butter, and then layer the potatoes in the dish. Drizzle with the cream, feta cheese, and thyme leaves. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
