- 100 grams sugar
- 125 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 1 generous pinch Vanilla bean
- 1 generous pinch Orange zest
- 1 Tbsp Orange juice
- 175 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 2 Tbsps Vanilla sugar
- 50 grams almonds
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Beat the sugar and butter until light and creamy. Add the egg, vanilla paste, orange juice and zest and mix well. Stir in the flour and baking powder and mix until smooth. Scoop the dough into small portions and roll into balls about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) in diameter.

Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and flatten with a glass.

Chop the rosemary finely and mix with the vanilla sugar. Sprinkle half of the cookies with the rosemary sugar and half with the almond slivers.

Bake for 12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven, cool completely and store in an airtight container.
