- For the aioli
- 5 large garlic cloves
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp sharp Mustard
- salt
- white peppers
- 300 milliliters olive oil
- ½ Tbsp lemon juice
- For the shrimp
- 2 garlic cloves
- 600 grams King prawn (peeled) (tails left intact) (deveined)
- olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
- 1 organic lemon (halved and sliced)
Preparation steps

For the aioli: Let all of the ingredients come to room temperature. Peel the garlic cloves and mince. Whisk together the egg yolks and mustard until light and fluffy and season with salt and pepper. Slowly whisk in the oil, drop by drop at first then in a slow steady stream. Whisk in the lemon juice and season with salt. Chill until ready to serve.

For the shrimp: Peel the garlic and chop finely. Rinse the shrimp, pat dry and sauté in 2 tablespoons oil for 2-3 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper, add the garlic and parsley and toss to combine. Transfer to serving plates along with the lemon slices and aioli. Serve sprinkled with red pepper flakes, if desired.
