Preparation steps

1.

Peel, quarter and core apples and pears, then cut into small cubes. In a pot, combine fruit with sugar, lemon juice, spices, wine and 400 ml / 1-2/3 cup water. Simmer over medium heat about 10 minutes.

Transfer mixture to a bowl. Remove spices and let cool. Serve compote in bowls.
