- 4 Chicken thigh
- 500 milliliters Chicken broth
- 100 grams Bacon
- 1 kilogram Pork ribs
- 1 stalk Leeks
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 2 carrots
- 100 grams Peas
- 150 grams green Beans
- 400 grams potatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 Juniper berries
- salt
- peppers (freshly ground)
- Caraway (ground)
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the chicken leg and pork ribs, part ribs and pat dry.

Rinse, trim and cut the leeks into rings.
3.
Peel the carrots, cut into halves lengthwise, and cut into slices.
4.
Rinse, trim and halve the beans.
5.
Peel the potatoes and dice.
6.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and fry the chicken leg in it until golden brown and then remove it. Fry the pork ribs in the remaining oil and them remove it also from the pan.

Fry the bacon in the same pan and pour in the chicken broth. Add the chicken legs and pork ribs back into the pan and simmer covered for about 30 minutes. Then add in the whole vegetables, bay leaves and crushed juniper berries and cook together about 20 min. Stir in the ground cumin and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
