15 yellow Hungarian wax peppers
500 grams Ground meat
200 grams Feta
2 Tbsps Pine nuts
1 Tbsp finely chopped oregano
2 shallots
2 garlic cloves
olive oil
2 eggs
salt
freshly ground pepper

Preparation steps

Rinse the peppers and slit lengthwise on one side. Remove the seeds.

Peel and finely chop the shallots and garlic and sauté in some olive oil. Remove from the heat and mix with the ground meat, oregano, pine nuts and eggs. Add the diced feta and season with salt and pepper.

Spoon the mixture into the peppers and place in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350ºF) for about 30 minutes. 

Serve hot.
