- ½ cup butter
- 4 Tbsps clear honey (plus extra for brushing)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup chopped Walnut
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/ 350°F/gas 4. Line a large baking tray with baking parchment.
2.
Gently melt the butter and honey in a pan over a low heat. Remove from the heat and add the bicarbonate of soda.
3.
Put the flour, oats and walnuts in a mixing bowl and stir in the honey mixture until blended. Allow to cool slightly.

Place 10 equal heaps of the mixture onto the baking tray and flatten slightly.
5.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden. While still warm brush a little honey onto each biscuit. Leave to cool.
