400 grams shrimp (ready to cook)
2 garlic cloves
1 red chili pepper
3 stalks cilantro
2 Tbsps chopped Pistachio (30 grams)
1 egg
50 grams Pastry flour
75 grams breadcrumbs
3 Tbsps Corn oil

Preparation steps

Rinse shrimp under cold water, drain and chop finely and transfer to a bowl. Peel and squeeze the garlic through a garlic press. Rinse the chile, halve lengthwise, remove seeds and finely chop. Rinse the cilantro, shake dry, and finely chop.

Add the pistachios, garlic, chile, coriander, egg, flour and breadcrumbs to the shrimp and knead to combine.

With moistened hands and working with 1 tablespoon at a time, shape the shrimp mixture into small balls and flatten slightly. Heat the oil in a pan and saute the shrimp cakes over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
