Cut the lamb into approximately 0.5 x 2 cm (approximately 1/4 x 3/4 inch) large pieces, put oil in a bowl and let the meat marinate 4 hours. Rinse the eggplants, halve lengthwise and cut into 1.5 cm (approximately 5/8 inch) slices. Season with salt.

After marinating the meat let drain well. Rinse the salted eggplant briefly and drain well. Alternately thread on the skewers.

Brush with some marinating and cook on the grill around 4-6 minutes. In between, brush again with oil. Serve the finished skewers with flatbread immediately.
