This dip is full of a variety of nutrients. The garlic supplies sulfides (secondary plant substances), which helps to effectively combat pathogens. The oils from the dill help us with digestion and the yogurt scores points with plenty of protein for strong muscles!
Tzaziki Dip, also written Tasatsiki, is an appetizer from Greece, which is served with many delicacies from the Balkans such as gyros, cevapcici, lamb or flatbread.

- 2 sprigs Dill
- ½ Cucumber
- 21 ozs Greek Yogurt
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
Preparation steps
Rinse and dry the dill, then chop one sprig. Peel and halve the cucumber. Coarsely grate and mix with 1 teaspoon salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Rinse and drain the cucumber, then mix with the yogurt (leaving some aside for garnish). Peel the garlic and pass through a press. Mix in the lemon juice and olive oil. Add the chopped dill, and season to taste with salt. Garnish with the remaining dill, and a bit of the cucumber.
