- 7 ozs Spelt flour
- 7 ozs Pastry flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 ozs sunflower oil
- 5 ozs Soy milk
- 9 ozs Rice syrup
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 7 ozs candied Orange peel
- 9 ozs Almond slivers
- 3 ozs brown sugar (packed)
- 6 ozs Margarine
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 350°F convection.

In a bowl, whisk together the spelt flour, with pastry flour, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, mix the oil with the soy milk, rice syrup and vinegar and stir it into the flour mixture, adding more water if necessary. Line a baking sheet with parchment, place the dough on it and flatten the dough.
3.
Chop the orange peel and place in a small saucepan along with the almonds, sugar and margarine and heat until the margarine has melted. Spread on the dough and bake until golden brown about 45 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool and serve cut into pieces.
