8 Tbsps coconut sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
4 ozs butter
6 ozs Pastry flour
3 ozs ground almonds

Preparation steps

1.

Peel apples, cut into quarters, remove cores and cut flesh into small cubes. Squeeze lemon juice over them. Mix apple cubes with 2.5 tablespoons sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice. Grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon butter and pour in the apple mixture.

Knead flour, almonds, remaining sugar and remaining butter together. Crumble between your palms and spread over apples.

3.

Bake at 180 °C / 350 °F for 25-30 minutes. Remove, cool to lukewarm, and serve.
