Nutritional values

These wraps are an excellent source of protein and fiber, which further strengthens the body's bones and helps with digestion! Cream cheese also scores with a lot of calcium, which is important for strong bones and teeth.

As far as the ingredients are concerned, you can try out different combinations! For example, try using other vegetables in these wraps, or replacing the cream cheese with hummus or guacamole.

Preparation steps

1.

For the wraps, mix flour and 1 tablespoon of salt in a bowl. Slowly add 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons of lukewarm water, stirring constantly. Knead the dough with your hands until it is smooth and no longer sticks to your fingers. Cover and let rest 15 minutes.

2.

Meanwhile, rinse lettuce leaves and spin dry. Rinse bell peppers, trim and cut into thin strips. Rinse radishes, trim and cut into quarters.

3.

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces and roll out to approximately 6-inch diameter rounds. In a frying pan, cook rounds over medium heat for 1 minute each. Flatten rounds with a spatula if they buckle or expand.

4.

Spread rounds with cream cheese and season with salt and pepper. Top with lettuce, bell peppers and radishes. Firmly roll up and cut in half in the middle. Tie wraps with kitchen twine to secure.
