6 cups bowtie Pasta (farfalle)

1 ½ Tbsps white wine vinegar
1 ½ Tbsps good-quality olive oil
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
4 scallions (rinsed and chopped)
¼ cup shelled Walnut (roughly chopped)
1 fresh lemon halved and cut into wedges (optional)

Preparation steps

Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions; reserve 1 tablespoon of pasta cooking water and save for dressing. Drain pasta and place in a large serving bowl.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together vinegar, oil, and reserved pasta cooking water. Season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside.
3.
Add chopped spring onions to pasta salad; pour dressing over top and toss well. Sprinkle with walnuts. Divide among bowls. drizzle with lemon (optional) and serve.
