Nutritional values
Attention: More whole grain is not possible! The fibre-rich wholemeal flour in the apple pie, together with the ground hazelnuts, not only provides a delicious nutty flavour. The digestive system is also pleased about all the dietary fibres, because they support the intestine in its work. The hazelnuts are also rich in cell-protecting vitamin E, which also makes skin and hair look healthy.
For even more pep and variety, you can sprinkle coarsely chopped hazelnuts over the cake after baking. Sunflower seeds also look great on the cake.
