Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Whip the egg white with a pinch of salt to medium-stiff peaks. Cut the marzipan into small pieces. Knead with the poppy seeds, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Fold in the egg white.

3.

Rinse the apples, pat dry and core. Decorate with the slivered almonds, fill with the poppy seed mixture and place in a greased baking pan. Drizzle with a little butter and bake for about 30 minutes.
