Preparation steps

1.

Clean chanterelles and rinse in warm water, if necessary. Drain immediately on a kitchen towel. Rinse parsley, shake dry and cut leaves into strips. Peel and chop garlic.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C convection.

Heat butter in a pan and brown chanterelles lightly, stirring, until almost all liquid has evaporated. Add garlic and saute briefly, season with salt and nutmeg. Add parsley and mix well. 

4.

Arrange toasted bread on the oven rack and spread with mushroom mixture. Top with cheese slices and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm or cold.
