1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Box grater, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Small pot, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Immersion blender (nach Belieben)

Preparation steps

1.
Using a mandolin or vegetable peeler slice the parsnips lengthways as thinly as possible. Rinse under running water and pat dry with kitchen paper.
2.
Heat the oil in a pan to 180°C - when a cube of bread browns in 30 seconds the oil is at the correct temperature.
3.
Fry the parsnip strips in batches for 2-3 minutes or until they start to brown.
4.
Drain well on kitchen paper, sprinkle with salt and serve warm.
