Ingredients

- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- ½ head Red cabbage
- salt
- 2 red chili peppers
- 2 garlic bulbs
- peppers
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- ½ oz Chives (1/2 Bunch)
- ¼ pomegranate (seeds only or about 1 Tbsp)
- 1 Tbsp white Sesame seeds
Preparation steps
Brush a baking tray with 1 Tbsp. oil. Clean red cabbage, wash and cut into slices approx. 1/3 inch thick. Salt red cabbage slices on both sides, brush with remaining olive oil and spread on the baking tray.
Halve chili peppers lengthwise, remove seeds, wash and cut into fine rings. Sprinkle over cabbage. Remove the garlic bulbs from the sheaths, cut in half crosswise, and spread on the tray. Pepper the cabbage, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C / 400 ˚F for about 35 minutes.
Meanwhile, wash chives, shake dry and cut into fine rolls. Remove the pomegranate seeds from the fruit.
Remove the red cabbage steaks from the oven and sprinkle with chives, sesame seeds and pomegranate seeds.
