- ½ tsp peppercorns
- ½ tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Cardamom
- 1 generous pinch ground Turmeric
- 1 generous pinch Curry powder
- 1 generous pinch Chili powder
- ½ tsp grated Orange zest
- 2 Curry leaves
- 4 cloves garlic cloves

Preparation steps
1.
Wash the chicken legs and pat dry.
2.
Peel and dice the potatoes. Mix with a little olive oil and salt and put into a baking dish. Peel and slice the garlic and add to the dish with the curry leaves. Add the chicken stock.
3.
Brush the chicken legs with olive oil and place on top of the potatoes. Put into a preheated oven (180°C) for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
4.
Put the pepper, coriander and cardamom into a mortar and grind coarsely. Mix with the turmeric, curry powder, chilli powder, orange zest and 4-5 tbsp olive oil and season to taste with salt. Brush the chicken legs with the mixture and cook for a further 10-15 minutes, or until done. Turn on the grill function to brown the chicken if necessary.
