2 small, ripe Tomatoes
300 grams Mozzarella
1 Tbsp fresh oregano
6 pickled Anchovy fillet
4 slices white bread
50 grams butter
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
salt (and pepper)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the tomatoes and cut crosswise into slices. Then cut into strips and remove the stalk. Cut the mozzarella into 8 slices. Rinse the anchovy fillets, pat dry and cut in half lengthwise.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (approximately 350ºF) and grease a baking sheet with oil.

Cut the bread in half and spread with butter. Lay a slice of mozzarella on each slice of bread, followed by some tomato strips and 1-2 anchovy fillets. Shower with the oregano and season well with salt and pepper.

Bake for 10 minutes and serve immediately.
