Ingredients
- For beef skewers
- 250 grams mixed Ground meat
- 2 Tbsps Herb quark
- 2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps Sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 yellow Bell pepper
- For the cheese skewers
- ½ bunch Basil
- 150 grams Cherry tomatoes
- 1 pkg Bocconcini
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- For the ajvar sauce
- 2 Tbsps Ajvar (prepared)
- 2 Tbsps sour Whipped cream
- For the mustard dip
- 2 Tbsps Mustard
- 2 Tbsps Whipped cream
Preparation steps
For the beef skewers: Combine ground beef, herb quark, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper and knead. Shape into 12 small balls and roll each in sesame.
Heat oil in a frying pan and cook beef balls on all sides for about 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.
Rinse cucumber and peppers. Cut cucumber into finger-thick slices.
Rinse peppers, cut in half, remove seeds and ribs and cut into pieces. Alternate adding cucumbers, peppers and beef balls to 6 skewers.
For the cheese skewers: Pluck basil leaves. Rinse tomatoes. Drain mozzarella. Alternate adding basil, tomatoes and mozzarella to 6 skewers. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
For the ajvar sauce: Combine ajvar and sour cream.
For the mustard dip: Combine mustard and cream.
Serve skewers with ajvar sauce and mustard dip.
